This is us on the old building, which the new owners bought for a mall and are renovating. We were invited to insulate the old roof with our monolithic foam concrete, which is 50% more profitable in this case (when compared with insulation with basalt wool or extruded polystyrene foam).
   
 
Schematically, we will briefly show you the principle of insulation of this particular object. As a hydro-barrier for foam concrete, the customer decided to leave the old roofing material, which has not yet lost its integrity and will serve under the foam concrete for many more decades.
   
 
The length of the roof slope is 10 meters. The difference between the top and bottom points is 1.10 meters. That is, the slope of the roof is about 10 centimeters per meter (or almost 6 degrees). This means that this roof is not so flat.
   
 
The design engineer calculated that in order to achieve the necessary thermal insulation for the roof of this building, the thickness of the insulation with its thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.06 should be 20 - 25 centimeters.
   
 
So we installed hights 25 centimeters high (in this case, they are made of a galvanized profile).
    
 
And they poured one layer 20 centimeters thick with D150 foam concrete. And on top of it is a second, denser layer, 5 centimeters thick, with D600 foam concrete.
   
 
Following us, roofers will come to this object and carry out fusion of roofing material directly on our foam concrete (after it has dried). And we're moving to this lower level in a couple of days to insulate the old flat roof in the same way.
